Frequently Asked Questions
What counts towards my event limit?
Each log entry, metric, trace, or audit event sent to LogFlux counts as one event. Events are grouped into three categories: Events (logs, metrics, application events), Traces (distributed traces, telemetry), and Audit (compliance/security audit logs). Each category has its own monthly quota.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle. When downgrading, credits will be applied to future invoices.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
For paid plans, we'll notify you at 80% usage. Overage pricing: Events at €0.30/100K, Traces at €1.50/100K, Audit at €5.00/100K. For the Free tier, ingestion stops when any category limit is reached until the next month.
What are the three event categories?
Events cover standard logs, metrics, and application events. Traces cover distributed tracing and telemetry data. Audit covers compliance and security audit logs with immutable 365-day retention. Each category has separate quotas to match their different cost profiles.
Do you offer annual billing?
